Short Stories
The Death of Jamal – A short story. Another foster child with a too-familiar ending. This is his story, his story of a life that should have been, but lost. This story is dedicated to all the foster children of the world. It is also dedicated to all those who have fostered, adopted, and advocated for, and those who would be future foster parents. My prayer is that anyone who reads this story will also have their heartstrings plucked into action. If not to adopt or foster, then to support those who do or those who tell their stories.
Assassin on the Mississippi – A short story. Another contract to kill. But first a test. A test to pass. What is the cost of failure?
